At Bristol Valley Hardwoods we manufacture our own brand of hardwood flooring, BristolMadeTM, to your specifications, right in our facility. You choose the specie of wood, width of boards, length of boards and clarity. All of these factors play an important role in the price of your floor (i.e. wider widths and longer lengths increase square foot costs). So you determine the final product based on your budget and desires!
Below are two terms used in hardwood flooring which will be helpful when determining the look of your floor.
- Restoration Flooring - This hardwood flooring product can be made from the specie and grade or character of your choice. It comes in long lengths, typically 6 feet and longer. If you desire the old look of longer length flooring, this is the product for you. Long length flooring is never inexpensive, but nothing can surpass the beauty and warmth it adds to your home.
- Commodity Flooring - If price is a consideration, our commodity flooring is the way to go. Available in standard 2-1/4, 3, 4, and 5 inch widths up to six feet long. This product is also available in several different species and grades.
